It was my first time to attend the UP FAIR week, and it was
already the 4th day. Our org, UP Music Circle or simply known as
UPMC, was part of the event that day. I volunteered for the job since I didn’t
have much to do at that time, and I didn’t regret it.
The program started late I think, there were technical
difficulties so the event couldn’t start yet. After some minutes, at last…it
started. To start up the event, different indie bands which were really really
good performed and I got to see them backstage. Most of them were from
different part of QC, and they really did express themselves by means of music.
When it was starting to get late, more “known” bands started
performing and there were so many celebrities at the backstage. One of the
coolest things started to happen that moment. I was able to be with them and
that alone was an honor. I even got to take a picture with them, and they were
really friendly. I was up there till the event finished, and the only thing I
could say is that, it was a really really great night.
I never expected in my life that I could be at a backstage
wherein my different idols are there with me. It was all thanks to my org which
gave me the opportunity to dream bigger things.
